Eastlake Station and 124th Avenue Parking Lot

Project Overview

Located at the southwest corner of 124^th Avenue and York Street, the Eastlake Station parking lot on 124^th near the Eastlake Subdivision provides 154 new parking spaces that includes parking lot lighting, pavement markings, landscaping, water quality features, bike lanes, roadway widening, and pedestrian access with a modified sidewalk to the RTD lightrail station. This project also includes curb and gutter for all islands, right of way, utility coordination, and consulting with the City’s environmental consultant for wetlands and 404 permitting.

Project Outcomes

• Added 154 parking spaces with pavement markings to access RTD’s light rail system
• Installed median landscaping with curb and gutter
• Added water quality features
• Widened 124th Avenue and added bike lanes to allow access to the parking lot
• Provided night time lighting for safety and better visibility
• Coordinated utilities, right of way, and 404 permitting
